Hotel Schloss Neuburg

Project Overview

A stately and historic property, Hotel Schloss Neuburg was a unique client requiring a tailored approach. Owned and operated by Manuel Leist, this prestigious establishment needed a comprehensive online presence to showcase its hotel and restaurant services, and facilitate bookings.

Objective

The project's primary aim was to create a visually striking and user-friendly website, integrating an independent booking system. This would allow the hotel to eliminate third-party booking fees, optimizing profit margins. Furthermore, we aimed to complete the project within a tight three-week timeframe.

Design Concept

For the website design, we selected a refined color palette of black, gold, and white. This elegant combination encapsulated the hotel's luxurious ambiance and its noble heritage, creating a visually appealing online presence.

Website Development

The website was developed over twelve distinct pages, each designed to provide a comprehensive view of the hotel's offerings. The pages were populated with fresh photographs, showcasing the property's grandeur and individual room details, which I personally shot to ensure the highest quality.

Independent Booking System

One of the project's significant achievements was the development of an independent booking system. Through this system, the hotel could directly process bookings, eliminating the need for third-party platforms and the associated fees. This strategic implementation significantly improved the hotel's revenue stream.

Results & Feedback

The project was completed successfully and within the stipulated three-week timeframe. The client, Manuel Leist, expressed his satisfaction with both the website's aesthetics and its functional capabilities, particularly the independent booking system.

Post-Project Reflection

Regrettably, due to unforeseen circumstances related to the COVID-19 pandemic, Hotel Schloss Neuburg had to close its operations. Regardless, the project served as an important learning experience and a demonstration of swift, effective web design and development practices.

This case study stands as a testament to the ability to deliver tailored, efficient solutions under tight deadlines, providing clients with tools that improve their business operations and enhance their online presence.
