Project Overview:
The goal of recreatetesla.org is to build a modern online library and museum dedicated to inventor Nikola Tesla. This library will collate and digitize Tesla's patents, writings, interviews, and other materials to create the most comprehensive collection of Tesla's work and ideas.
Additionally, I will develop an AI system trained on all of Tesla's materials in the library. This AI bot, called "TeslaBot", will be able to answer questions and discuss ideas in the style and worldview of Nikola Tesla himself. By ingesting all of Tesla's writings, the bot will aim to recreate his innovative thinking and unique perspectives on science and invention.
The library and AI bot will be public-facing through the recreatetesla.org website. Users will be able to browse the Tesla archives, read his original texts, and ask questions to TeslaBot to receive responses based on its AI training. My goal is to use modern software and AI to bring Tesla's genius to life for a 21st century audience.
Key milestones for the project are:
Complete digitization of all known Tesla texts and media
Development of a searchable/browsable online archive
Training of TeslaBot AI agent based on digitized data
Launch of public-facing website with library and interactive TeslaBot
By making Nikola Tesla's work accessible and reviving his mind through AI, this project aims to inspire future generations with his creativity and vision for science. The recreatetesla.org library and bot will showcase how Tesla's ideas continue to shape technology and innovation today.
